Faith in the Flames

Christians are known by their love, even when facing great adversity.

When kids step into the Imagination Station, they travel back in time and across the world with cousins Patrick and Beth. Each book is historically accurate, and readers grow in their faith and knowledge of history as they race through each story.

Patrick is still reeling from his father's job loss when he and Beth take off on a new adventure from Mr. Whittaker. They have to move fast to stay ahead of the fires destroying Rome in AD 64. As chaos spreads, they witness Christians working together to help others in need. But not everyone thinks so highly of the Christians, including Emperor Nero, who has a very different response to the destruction of his city.

This story entertains and introduces young readers to the first-century church in a way that is educational and inspiring. Filled with clean action and biblical values, it is a chapter book parents and grandparents can hand to children worry-free, and early readers will learn about ancient history and trusting God even when it's hard.
