Tears Of Terror: Turbulent Skies #5 (paperback)

Tears of Terror reads almost more like a devotional than a suspense story. This isn't bad! The story is an 'in-the-head' monologue of a young woman (Chelsea) struggling to deal with her own sense of self-worth (or lack thereof) as she recalls her life, and the steps that brought her to be on the plane. As the terror of the hijacking begins to unfold, she realizes exactly why she did go into journalism - to expose unjustices for people who don't have a voice. It is through this process of confir…mating her calling that she also begins to understand and accept who she is, and that God has always been with her, waiting for her to reach out again. Which is why I say the story is, in a way, like reading a devotional - her thought process is really a teaching in the way Alana writes it, and if anyone really grasps the lessons they, like Chelsea, will walk away with a better, God-focused view of themselves and of their purpose in life.

This is the fifth book in this series and has the same suspense, intrigue as her other books. The characters take a look at their lives while a hijacking is taking place. It will make you see others as they reflect on their lives. I received an copy of this book from the author. I have left my honest review.

True story

Alana Terry will have you on the edge of your seat waiting to see what happens next in this story. Chelsea never expected her life could be in danger when she boarded on flight 219. The faith that Grandma Lucy has is truly inspirational and amazing. You will feel God working throughout this wonderful story. I had the honor to review this book for the author for a honest review.

This is the fifth book in the Turbulent Skies series written by Alana Terry. Like the four books before this one, each book is told from a different passenger onboard a flight that is highjacked. This one is told from Chelsea's, a journalist, point of view. Chelsea is wanting the next best story, however, she wasn't thinking she would actually be part of the next best story!I highly recommend this book and the whole series by Alana Terry.I received this book from the author for my honest op…inion.

This is book 5 in the series turbulent skies. Really enjoyable read. This one is is about a journalist Chelsea, on the terror flight, you can feel her terror,fear. Alana has definitely a way with words. I love how the the stories are told in all the different viewpoints . Would recommend this series.

This book has a different viewpoint from Chelsea, another passenger on the plane. Chelsea regularly covers stories about crime and terrorism, but she is not ready to be part of the stories she writes.

I enjoyed all the other books in this series, but to be honest, this one fell flat for me. It didn't give any new details about the hijacking scene, and the new character's perspective didn't really seem to add much to the event. It just seemed like a way to extend the series for the sake of it. It's not a bad book, but I would have liked more meat to it.
