When we started this series on the Proverbs 31 woman, we never thought it would take us on this long, winding, wonderful journey. This chapter of scripture turned out to be far more than we expected, and we couldn't be more thankful you chose to come along with us on this journey!
Week after week we uncovered verses that launched our discussions into places we'd never have gone if we were just reading through it ourselves. We hope you've been blessed as much as we have been through these last weeks of conversation!
So what did we learn? Who IS the Proverbs 31 woman? The answer may surprise you - it definitely surprised us.
Tips for being a Proverbs 31 woman:

Think of women you admire who embody qualities reflected in Proverbs 31. What do you admire and why?

Balance the importance of recognizing the need for growth with extreme grace for yourself. There is no room for negative self-talk or perfectionism in the life of a Proverbs 31 woman.

Make a habit of recognizing the beauty of other women - it just might transfer to having more grace with yourself!

Love and pursue God with all of your heart through prayer and time in scripture... and remind yourself when necessary how much he loves you - just as you are.

Look in the mirror: You already are a Proverbs 31 woman! Thank God for the ways he has uniquely designed you to reflect his love and image to the world.
Our prayer for you today ...
Dear God,
Thank you for Proverbs 31: a song celebrating womanhood. Give us eyes to see the women around us as you see them. Give us hearts full of love for the women we encounter on a daily basis, and an urgency to pray for them.
Give us wisdom and discernment in our own lives to see the log in our own eye before noticing the speck in our sisters'. Allow us to recognize room for growth without feeling defeated or discouraged.
We pray for unity among women in the Body of Christ to be our strength, for us to collectively shine brightly to the world as an example of love and acceptance.
In Jesus' name, Amen.
