We thank you for the gifts of joy and laughter. We don't always associate them with Proverbs 31, and we thank you for reminding us that strength and dignity don't exclude joy, laughter and even being whimsical or frivolous.
Help us to recognize areas where we need to take ourselves less seriously and be more playful in our relationships with others, as well as in our relationship with you and in our prayer lives. Help us to find joy in prayer and a deeper intimacy with you as we do.
